"You are not alone, you are not crazy, and what you are experiencing is not "all in your head."

- Michelle N. Johnson

I remember the day I received my diagnosis.   After doing a series of tests and a biopsy, a diagnosis was made.

My doctor told me I had endometriosis.  Even after hours of listening to doctors, and reading pamphlets, I still had no clue as to what my diagnosis meant.

My book will enlighten you. Whether it’s you or your loved one who has been diagnosed, you will gain an empathetic perspective.  Vividly and with clarity, you will know the mental, physical and emotional anguish that “Endo Women” endure daily.

My book will educate you. You will clearly understand and make sense of your diagnosis.

My book will empower you. “Endo Women” will be empowered to have a greater voice and greater control when choosing treatments and management options for this disease. You will learn to be assertive and make comprehensive informed decisions, and become an advocate for yourself.

Testimony

“Plain-spoken, engaging, and maintaining a sense of humor throughout, Michelle Johnson’s book “Fighting Fiercely” provides insight into her personal struggle and pain as she wends her way through the often frustrating maze of diagnosis and medical management of endometriosis. Beyond this, however, she speaks frankly about the emotional and psychological toll it can take on relationships, as well as offers suggestions to partners, friends and family, about how they can be supportive. Her annual endometriosis awareness event, Fighting Fiercely, brings together a lively, multi-disciplinary group of speakers and participants that shed a holistic light on the topic from medical, nutritional, health and fitness, and spiritual perspectives. Ms. Johnson’s story is not an easy one to tell, but she does so bravely and enthusiastically, and with the ultimate goal of touching others’ lives with hope.”
